Xuande marque and period tea pot?

    I know a guy who said he found this tea pot in ship wreck and I want to know if it's real and belong to that period:

    I think the guy who told you he found this in a ship wreck was pulling your leg. None of these pieces appear to have much age to them, neither physically nor by decor.

    forget the ship wreck for a moment, what can you say about those pieces one by one, are they brand new fakes, are they old but not worth anything?

    I agree. Things like this that have been in sea water for any length of time would likely have attached sea creatures. The painting on the bowl is very sloppy, so to me that means modern factory work.

    Regardless of the story - not old, no wear. The bowl with children and the fish jar are modern decor for sure.

    alright, what about the teapot what can you say about it? and what kind of wear should it have if it was really in sinking ship?
