Featured Irish Pin Stone?

    Hi all,
    I have this little (1 1/2"L) Irish Lyre harp pin with a green stone - maybe Connemara?
    Any information appreciated

    lol, thanks komokwa:) ok, I never thought of that, I thought with the lyre harp it would be an Irish stone, but what do I know:)

    Maybe for a shawl? But the pin is shaped like a kilt pin, but wrong country.

    Not the wrong country at all, there are Irish kilts.

    It certainly looks like Connemara marble to me.
    And yes, there are Irish kilts as well, but if this were worn as a kilt pin the harp would be sideways, so no kilt pin.

    I can't access Etsy right now, they're doing maintenance again, so I don't know what it says in that listing. But my vote is for Connemara marble.

    Yes, this would work as a shawl pin, thanks INH:)
    I guess it could work for a kilt but it is small, 1 1/2"L x 3/4".
