The oldest boat was found in Pesse, the Netherlands, it dates from between 8200 and 7600 BC, and we can all go on and on about the age of wooden artifacts from different parts of the world, but that is not the point in this case. The point is age in perspective of historical development of a certain culture in a certain place.
The chair is a rare piece of history, given the context, and I for one appreciate that.

And I'm sure you know that North American artifacts date back to long before the chair. Native American, specifically.

    Did anyone ever care?:hilarious:

Just my opinion, one-upmanship based on history or culture from any part of the world belongs somewhere in the murky 'other world' of misconceptions.

    Hi,
Being in my eighty's I am sorry but you are all girls to me. Nothing being disrespectful. I am too damn old to be "Political Correct" The older woman like Elizabeth the Queen and Betty White and others are Ma'am to me. I will try to hold the door for you but most of you all try to hold the door for me. I thank you.

At the very, very least, "girls" is biologically incorrect. And more often than not being "political correct" is just plain being polite.
