Ahh the memories....of 4 pm, sitting at the lighthouse in a pareo ( sarong, ) munching on strawberry crepes.....with an espresso

 

Ya , I know those hangers.....just someones idea of trying to cut costs....

 

A new trick here in the states is, you can't remove the hanger from the rod, they are permanently attached!

 

This talk about Hotels bought to mind 1957 .. ready to board the old BOAC flight to Canada, the flight was delayed until the next day and the Airline put us up in the Connaught Hotel. WELL .. this Hotel had a small orchestra playing in the dining room, Waiters with dark dress suits and a white towel over one arm .. we thought we were in Heaven and told to watch our manners .. on the pain of Death. I immediately became a movie star.. my nose up in the air, imperious to the rest of my family .. I was a cut above all others. This went on until my Dad threatened to smack my arse .. I then immediately became once again Joy the nothing from no-where, and behaved for the remainder of the fabulous meal .. all paid for by the Airline .. Joy.

Had to laugh about the hangers. I have 12 to 18 wooden hangers from all over the world. Never stole one but bought most of mine from people who did.

I have found quite a few of those Hotel hangers in Value Village .. I guess folks decided to get rid of the purloined things .. LOL .. Joy.

ok, I attached a link of sold wood hangers from ebay but it doesn't seem to work Anyways, if you check out the sold ones you may be surprised.

 

Yeah, I don't doubt it, people collect just about everything & anything.
