Need help finding these glasses

Hi,

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm trying to identify and find a set of these wine glasses. They were my grandparents wedding glasses in the late 1930-early 1940s. I'm supposed to have them for my brother's wedding in 2.5 weeks.

Features: Bell shape, bubble, crystal, delicate. Haven't been able to firmly identify the etched design but an antique store owner suggested it was a corn flower?

Go to pretty much any decent thrift or antique store,and theres usually tons of this stuff .Not much call for it these days.You should be able to find some very much like these.Good luck and get cracking!

 

They may not be exactly the same, but there are a lot of them about. Pretty stuff.

The stem is called a lady leg, BTW, (Of which I am very fond). I used to have a bunch of these glasses with the leg, and the ferns...but not the ones you need. Small ones, for wine; found them in a thrift shop. However, I must point out, that some miserable so-and-so was looking over my shoulder, copying my choices, and such things are nowhere to be found around here anymore! Grrrrrrrrr!

As said, look on eBay for etched, as well as wheel-cut.

Question: how many glasses are you hoping to find? Just for the bride and groom, the entire wedding party, the complete guest list?

As I said in your other thread, try Morgantown, and as well as the lady leg, look for glasses without the safety edge.
