This bottle is clearly labeled on the front as you can see & came with a lot of bottles I bought some time back. It appears to still have the original cord wrapped around the neck of the bottle & the stopper. However, for some reason, the stopper does not look right to me but I was not able to find any examples of this bottle in my books or online. @Helen Farnsworth - this would be right up your alley. It is 3 1/8" to the top of the stopper, 2 1/8" across & is 3/4" front to back. There are no marks on the bottom of the bottle. It also does not indicate on the label if this is perfume or something else & since I could not find it anywhere when would this fragrance have been made? Thanks for any & all advice or opinions!!
Let me through this at you. In the 1940's, Valdome was a wine maker in New York city, New York. I couldn't find the address.
Thanks @KikoBlueEyes & @Debora!! Hopefully Helen will swing on by to give us the straight skinny on this bottle.
Yes, great little bottle. The company used a French bottle and name, but was from New York about 1943-at least the two scent names used were TM in that year. As someone mentioned "Your Highness", but also "Envy" was another name.
Should have added another perfume name of "Romance" and that this company was under Cornelius A. Pope in the US patent records 1946 for class 6 (perfume).
