    2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg Hi,
I am new to all of this. My boss has a 18th/19th century Chinese jewelry chest that was bought by a family member during that time and handed down thru the family. It's in sad condition and I am restoring it for him to pass on to his daughter. I am trying to locate some authentic parts to restore it. I am hoping someone in this group may be able to help. Google search keeps sending me to sites that are for purchasing or selling antiques. The piece is going to be stunning when completed even with the wear and tear showing. I have attached some of the parts I am looking for.

Welcome and good luck with that project, Chris!

Given the role shipping costs can play, it might be helpful to specify your region. Your spellings suggest N America but I'm sure you can narrow it down further for us. :)

Thank you for your response. I am in the States and more specific, Ohio.

For general hardware spares try model making shops (including model railway shops), they often have small nails, screws pins and obscure bits. For the more specialised items you may do best buying damaged items (which can often be had cheaply) and scavenging the parts from them. This way you will get original fittings and it may well work out cheaper than trying to source replacements.
