Its a bell! Its a Bell Pepper Bell!!!!!

Hahahahaha, I am sooooo in love with this find I got over the weekend. I can not begin to describe the smile it brings to my face. Ive been doing some looking into this and, "Hill" is definitely a tricky name to research. I am leaning toward this being a work of Jack Hill, but am not certain. Anyone out there familiar with or recognize the artist? Also, if you had this piece, what would you ask for it. Thanks all, hope everyone is well.

I love it too! Jack Hill makes some very comical pieces doesn't he? I think you may be right, here is a close up of his sig on a banana sculpture. You could always ask him. (big bucks )

A great many thanks. The signature does look like a match, especially with the last elevated “L”. I was thrown off because this bell doesn’t have a face or comical embellishment. But it’s so well done, the quality is definitely there.

That is so adorable. Being raised in Dresden Ohio I was very near beautiful ceramics and pottery. I have actually never seen a bell like this although I have seen bell pepper cookie jars. Really cute.

Absolutely, this piece is correctly of bronze. The weight is certainly there. And isn't that pear a riot?!?! Lol
