I am new to the forum and definitely not an Antique specialist, so looking for some of you keen folk's expert advice.

I have inherited the hall stand in the photo from my mother and really love it as it is still in such good condition and an attractive piece (in my eyes anyway!). I believe it has been in the family for many years (at least from the early 1900's and maybe before). It is 2250 mm high and 900 mm wide. Looking on Google it seems it may be a Victorian Hall Stand.

I am trying to find out circa date of the piece and any other information about it regarding origin, type of timber, value etc. as I have no idea, and now interested.

    Appreciate your comments.

Circa 1880 and believe to be cherry. Has been refinished. Not American.

Thanks for the input. Great grandparents were European, so suspect this is where it originated from. No idea how to identify wood types.
The only part that does not look original is the dark triangular piece in the RHS lower right corner.
Any guesses as to what it could be worth?
