Scottish? enamel badge

    Can't help identify except it doesn't look Scottish.

    It doesn't look Scottish at all, it looks...... Dutch!:D
    It is the town crest of Amsterdam:

    Amsterdam was granted permission to use the Imperial crown of the Holy Roman Empire in 1489, hence the 'closed' crown, which always points to an empire, not a kingdom like Scotland.
