    Sorry, I came back late. I said I would buy because I saw some dark spots on some of the pieces. Thin excuse I know, but for $80 I could chance it :)

    wow, excellent tip Mr Nate:) Looking at the photo now, yes, I can notice the difference, something to keep in mind for next time.
    I enjoy your posts, these games are fun and also a learning experience, thanks for posting them:)
    Also glad to see you got a good score for your $80.00:)

    Yes, I would buy for $80. Know the patterns fairly well, but also like those grapefruit spoons.

    Thanks @MrNate, that was fun. Great tip about the bowl of the spoon looking softer that the shiny ones.
    I’m quite proud of myself to have spotted that some was plated but not proud that I’d have thrown the baby out with the bath water!
