Almost looks like a chair in a doctor's waiting room for patients suffering from an injured coccyx (tailbone) or hemorrhoids or both ailments.

Is there a fifth spoke/leg we can't see?

I was going to ask similarly if it was an X swivel base.

The designer was Augusto Bozzi, I don’t know if they had model names or not but they definitely had “lines” like Kosmos and Aster.
That type of base on a Herman Miller chair cuts the value considerably, not sure if the same holds true for Saporiti chairs but I would think so.

It Does have five legs. And how much do you think something like this would be worth? Or would you not be able to really tell?

Its probably 1980s,a lot of design came out of Italy then. I think its not particularly sought after as of yet,who knows in 10 years?

Thing is, MCM (mid century modern) is pretty hot these days and if your chair was a Sam Maloof for example you would be sitting pretty! It has to be the "right" maker, ditto for Mission or A&C or pretty much any style and any era.
