Porcelain Indian Chief smoker or incense burner - Germany?

    This piece is 3 5/8" to the top & is 2 7/8" by 2 3/8" across the bottom. I think the impressed number is 1628.

    Any ideas as to the country of origin & when it was made.

    Could be home hobbyist? Im not getting a particularly German vibe with that smooth base.

    Found one similar in my mothers home, did you ever find out more?? Hers is porcelain and stamped too.

    I never did find out anything else. I listed it on eBay soon afterward & it sold for $15.50.

  7. So I have two types of this. Incense Burner from Germany about 1925-35. Some of then have Germany and numbers and others have Germany numbers and the single world "Habro".
