Antique metal canister Asian and symbols message inside written in Chinese

    This canister is 2 1/2 * 3 7/8 to me it looks like those ancient Chinese all Tibetan things that you spin for good luck. The top rattles when shaken holding the stem at the bottom
    Inside there is a long piece of rice paper or paper 17in long with calligraphy or Chinese writing on it.

    Thanks Bakergma I've noticed the big ones at the temples in documentaries that people swing around with the hands but I never took notice of the little small ones.
