Hello. I saw this in a antique shop a few days ago and took a picture to confirm it was worth the $159 they were asking for it before I buy. Do you guys thinks it worth it. What do you think it’s worth and importantly,

From your photo, it looks more like a print. A pastel, and or a watercolor to my knowledge, would be under glass.

 

Does anyone know the artist? Thanks

 

And I inspected it with a loupe and saw the different textures so I think it might be the camera making it seem like a print.

 

Also, it is under glass, photo quality isn’t so great, sorry.

 

How big is it? Are you buying to resell?

 

It’s about 2 feet wide and 1.5 feet high. I haven’t bought it yet but would like to know if I should. Thanks

unless you can pin down the artist...and the age....these are nice accent works that go for 20 to 125 at the thrift stores...all day long...........

Hard to see what name it is. Especially on a tablet.

The trees appear to be umbrella pines which would make southern Europe more likely.

But the house with that type of chimney doesn/t fit somehow.

The chimney in the middle of the endwall and practically glued to the house as an independent part of the building is not southern european
