HELP WITH MAKER, AGE & MEANING OF HALLMARKS ON OLD(!) DERRINGER? PISTOL

Bought this at a estate sale for $200 because when I googled it I saw prices from $700 up to $3,000+!

I didn't have a name or know what type it was, but I did now it was old, small & the barrel unscrews! With that I got pictures of similar looking ones & the prices mentioned above - so I bought it

Can anyone tell me who made it, what country it's from, how old it is - or what this one might be worth?

As always, I appreciate any help.

 

PS - just measured it - it's only 8" long!

This one has a screw on cannon style barrel ......but not quite yours..yet

I sold it to a friend yesterday for $400
Didn't realize how hard it is to sell a firearm, even a antique - no eBay or Craigslist - so I'm happy doubling my money in 3 days.
