Welcome to the Forum, Frank! :)
It is best to use this section for introductions. This would get the right people to see it in furniture. I will let @verybrad know to look here. You should add more photos, joints, back, underneath drawers.

    Maybe.

Could also be a dressing table/vanity missing the three part mirror.
I know because, I took the mirror off mine and used it as an entry table instead.

Most of the ones I've been finding have more drawers. Someone painted this one white.

Frank, check the back across the top for holes where a mirror might have been attached. Mine had two side mirrors that swung, like the one above, so only the centerpiece was attached.

Oh and mine has only two large drawers, like Frank's.

I think that it is about time (actually past time) that we learned the "dimensions" on this "item" (be it vanity or desk). ;)

How high is the top of the "item" from the floor?

How wide is the item from side to side?

How "deep" is the item from front to back?

Whether it ever had a mirror or not, it is a writing desk now. ;) Here is a similar vintage writing desk I currently have at my shop. If the organizer were removed, one might think it a vanity missing its mirror.

Thank you for posting the dimensions. That is a nice piece of furniture. I look forward to seeing more photos when you have time to post them. ;)
