Phi Sigma Kappa front.JPG Phi Sigma Kappa Back.JPG Phi Sigma Kappa logo 1873.JPG Gold stone 1.JPG Gold Stone 3.JPG Hi everyone,

Going through my parents estate and we have a couple of attic found, jewelry/misc. trays from my parents flea market days back in mid 80's, they were collectors of all things vintage.

Searching for any information on this vintage Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity bracelet. Any help with dating and possible metal will be much appreciated. Does not pull to magnet, and I have not attempted to clean.

Also a very pretty amber colored glass necklace. possible age? design?
    Cleaning suggestions?
No marks of any kind on either of the items.
I would upload pic of the tray but it has small price stickers on the glass for some pieces and did not know if that was allowed.

    Regards, Patty

    Interesting finds, Patty! Greetings!

The bracelet should be marked somewhere, but it needs cleaning desperately, so try that first.

The bracelet might have been made to give to one of the fraternity's little sisters which are usually the girlfriends of the brothers that belong to the fraternity.

The Phi Sigma Kappa bracelet is Art Deco. Not an expensive thing; could have been a party favor.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

The Fraternity bracelet does say either 1873 or 1878.....

1873. Year the fraternity was founded. Part of crest.

Love the necklace! Unusual glass on it, maybe Czech.

Frat bracelet is more than likely silver plated base metal from the 50s or 60s. Glass bead piece has a clasp I see on a lot of 40s jewlery.

Hi @Patty Ky. Unfortunately, I can't add any useful information about your pieces, but last week I coincidently purchased a necklace that contains one of the design elements in your bracelet ... also with no markings on it. Still unpolished and untested, but here it is. If I should come across any info. about it I'll be sure to post it here in this thread.

Nice, thanks for sharing your piece. My bracelet cleaned up nicely, but still no marking.
