Pair of Antique Lamps ?

Found these two small cut glass and metal not sure if silver , bottom glass looks Victorian possibly a gas light of some sort any help appreciated thank you.

did you try to put them under pressure by pumping with the rod ? perhaps for scent ?

You have a matching pair of Victorian atomizers (perfume bottles)
I'd check closely around the tops for silver markings. Actually if you took a cloth and polished them, you might find the marks more easily.

I could not find your exact hardware or bottle. However, similar hardware was made by Marcel Franck from the turn of the century until the 1940's. The hardware was sold to various glass makers such as Lalique & Baccarat. They could be used to travel because of the screw on nozzle & the pump apparatus which can be secured by a quarter turn clockwise.

 

Thank you for all the replies I found a mark T M with an atomiser symbol for a French man called Theophilus Martin and they are circa 1900 , Silver plated no sterling mark .

I was not familiar with this maker. I had a feeling they were not Marcel Franck because the ones I was finding in my reference books were much plainer, but worked in the same piston style fashion.
