Been meaning to post this for a while, finished just before the 4th of July, there’s a zip line at the other end. The ramp plan was squashed because it meant removing trees and we decided we’ve already lost too many with recent storms.

I’ve spent more time up there than any of the kids. I’m a birder and it’s the perfect place for spotting, it’s next to an irrigation pond. My friends at the bird observatory next door are a bit envious.

If they start hinting for an invite, tell them you can be "bought" by "very cheap" sterling silver. ;) :p:p :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

That's why I went for it.:p:p:p All of my first cousins are half Dutch, so odds are some of the pieces will find their way into Christmas boxes.

The antique show was kind of a wash.... not as many vendors as usual. I did manage to find these what I think are vintage baroque akoya pearls. The clasp is simply marked silver, makes me believe vintage Japan. I can't capture their beauty, the luster is insane on these.

And this watch did turn out to be 14k, getting it fixed

I know, I am evil. Now you know that being in cahoots with the Dutch devil pays off. On to test two.:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
Seriously, a wonderful win. I love that big floral Art Nouveau pendant, but it is all very nice.

    Planter marked 155-USA about 6" tall. 1$

Little odd shaped glass cruet. 1$

    Turkish glass decanter. 5$

    Cinnabar lacquer vase. 2$

That's a nice haul; I love that Turkish piece. The cruet may have been in a holder of some kind originally. And cinnabar for $2? Whew!

My find of the day was a big silk Stiffel lamp shade for $15; one of my lamps needed a new shade, the old one has holes in it due to age, and the ReStore had it sitting there on a big ugly lamp. I donated the lamp right back. That's about $100 off retail.

The pendant isn't marked, but who cares? I don't think it's actually art nouveau era either, but again... tant pis. Put 'er on a cord and away it goes.

The Turkish decanter is VERY nice indeed. Too bad it's missing the stopper but for 5 bucks I couldn't pass it up. You're probably right about the cruet - hadn't thought of that but makes sense.

I like my local ReStore - they don't carry garbage and they have reasonable prices - which reminds me - I recently bought an old Chase Brass light fixture from my ReStore - I'll have to post it.

Wow very nice everyone. Love the tree house too.
My younger brother had a tree house, not as nice as yours.
Even had carpeting in it. When they ripped up the carpeting years later, the bugs scattered and so did I.:p
