Yes there appears to be one. I read online to soak in vinegar. I have been letting it soak for 2 days. New to this sorry. Trying to upload more pics but my files are to big.

Is it about 7 inches long like the one above?

Posted a couple more pics. Don't have a tape measure at the moment but it is about 6-7" long.

Tip - check box display all images as full size.
I think it looks as if yours may be the same as above. It looks as if that tip may have broken off. I cannot judge the age, maybe someone else will come along.

Thank you. Yes it was a fun trip. We actually passed by the same spot on our way down the trail with no hits. On our way back it picked it up. We weren't having any luck at first but at the end of the day I felt lucky for sure lol.

FUN TIP....I don't carry a tape measure with me, but years ago I measured my hand....spread wide open as wide as I could.....then measured thumb tip to pinky tip.....for me it's exactly 8 1/2".....and has been easy to always remember......and always have "handy"............oooooh...how bad is THAT pun!!!!!:bag::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    Hi,
The American paper dollar is 6¼" long. I always used it to tell the difference between a 5" plate and a 7" plate. Usually I carry a tape measure, a black lite and a magnet when I go yard shopping.

That's a great tip Aquitaine, I just measured mine, right hand is 7" span and left is 7-1/2". and I'm (mostly) right handed.

Ok I did some more cleaning on it. Got the handle hole cleared out and there was like some sort of pin in there. Sorry for 20180730_170736-1.jpg 20180730_170656-1.jpg 20180730_170736-1.jpg 20180730_170656-1.jpg the wording I know nothing about tools and stuff like this lol.

Just to bring back fond memories of watching my daddy building or repairing things, I wish that almost-oblong "hole" in the last picture (originally/still) held a "bubble level" mechanism. ;)
