French Empire Chairs?

Hello there and thanks for the add. I’m trying to assess the value of these two chairs – I believe they are French empire chairs. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Would think that they tend toward Empire Revival, ca. 1900-1910

 

The furniture geeks will want to see the underside too. I'd agree with Ghopper about the age and guess that it's not American. From what I've seen American factories wouldn't have used those feet. That said, you never knew what a Victorian cabinet maker would get up to.

 

I am on board with Ghopper and Empire revival. I see nothing particularly French about them and see no reason these could not be American.

 

I was half thinking British, but it's oak and I'm no expert.

 

I am guessing but looks like a late victorian attempt at Trifid feet or sometimes called a Drake foot

 

Those feet ends aren't French Empire at all...

 

aren't the legs straighter as well ?
