Thank you for such a lovely answer and your time, appreciate it very much . As far as I know, off my mom's info, great-grandfather and his brothers, so 3 guys, difference in age, as well as some stuff was inherited from previous generation, family side does have more of a German feel to the name as well as great grandfather lands were more or less taken by the government after ww2 since he's been taken by German army to drive them since not many had cars.
Anyway guilty by association. Most of the items were destroyed or buried because family was ashamed, however I was quite happy coming across a few of these sabers and bullets and old notes and books from two generations before ww 1 and 2 and during so things are mixed and so is my head but nevertheless incredible to touch either way .
