Featured Has Anyone Seen These Bookends Before? Crying Baby? Buddha? God? w/Rock of all Nations

I found these today at a local thrift store & can not find another pair like them! (it's partly why I bought them!)
Has anyone seen these before? They are metal? Or bronze(?) - is that why the green in the 1 head?
It has "Rock of All Nations" on bottom front which makes me wonder if crying baby is some deity?
ANY information would be appreciated.

In paragraph 3 "(Michel) Jacobs also donates a work in sculpture "Rock of all Nations", exemplified in a bronze head of a baby."

I suspect this is the Canadian-born sculptor and painter Michel Jacobs (1877-1958) who wrote The Art of Colour. "Ask Art" has a bio on him. Can't find any pictures of his sculptures.

I will look for signature but I didn't notice before (maybe because I looked at edge, bottom - reg spots to find one)
So They are not a pair of book-ends?

 

Yours look like bookends to me but from the same statue I think.

 

I found the 1914 & a copyright symbol - and then I think it's his initials! (I cam see a J - something - & a M, but it's faint.
