Ugly Chartreuse Vase - who made it?

    This vase is 10 1/2" tall. I bought it because it looks older to me, and also, I couldn't believe my eyes.

    The bottom is unglazed, and has saw marks from a cutting tool. I was thinking maybe Alamo, Gilmer, or Camark because of those clues, but I've never seen art pottery with such a garish bloom on the front before.

    These photos are awful - taken with my phone. The vase is actually bright chartreuse all over.

    Can't help you aside it gives me a 30's vibe (not based on any evidence though), but it does appeal to me, looks like something right out of Liberace's house!

    I frankly don't see it as ugly at all. That must be because I love green - any shade of green. :greedy:

    I don't know who made it, but it's great! I'd guess 1950s...maybe California.
