i bought this for my fiancé in Rotenburg ODT, Germany. The jeweler said this is a ring from the Edwardian era and I haven’t been able to ID the markings. Can anyone tell me more about this ring? The stone is blue topaz with black gems(marcasite?) C25C3FE4-3726-4F3A-836F-D6EB9D28DD82.jpeg 12DAC539-2927-4858-AA1E-075C2480AA5E.jpeg

hummmm....sterling.....those markings don't make me think Edwardian 1901-1910.

No way to tell the stone from here , other than I see what I think are lots of inclusions....meaning not a quality stone.
    Yes...those do look like marcasites...

Lets see what the Joolies have to say !

    BTW...high marks for really nice photo's !!!!
    & yes...it's a nice ring !

    Welcome to the forum, Jerrod.
I agree with the others. It is a nice ring, but certainly not what the jeweler said. Any jeweler could have seen it was recently made.

According to EU law you have the right to return it and get a full refund. Don't be fooled if they say it was bought too long ago (I don't know when you bought it), this is misrepresentation, which is an offense in the EU.

Oh wow that is so unfortunate, I paid over $100 for this ring when we were on vacation. I bought it in November when we visited Germany and have since given it to her and she’s so in love with this ring. We live in the U.S. and it’d be impossible to get a refund..
Thank you for all of the insight and valuable information everyone!
