Is this plate imari

    Hi hoping someone could help me with this plate, it looks like an imari plate but im not sure, there are no markins to the base just a little blue decoration, any help on date and origin would me much appreciated

    Yes, it does appear to be Japanese Imari ware, probably late 19th/early 20th century.

    Thank you, all i knew was it had the imari colours, its so confusing when a plate isnt marked, the enamel paint work on the plate appears a little wonky, though maybe thats how its supposed to look like,

    Yes, that's quite normal. These items are hand painted so there is lots of variation, the quality varies widely too, there are some very finely painted examples from the period along with the more mass market pieces.
