    thanks to you both, it really is an exceptional vase. I cant think what else it could be other than murano

    Murano is abit of a sweeping term. ;) I'd have expected not to see that slightly sloppy pontil, but rather fire polished. I surmise Japanese. Again.

    If you go on google images and type in "goldan talast vase" I believe that's what you have
