    I don't think it's a recent import, but can you get a better image of its bottom?

    There is a side seam starting from the bottom and finishing about 2" from the mouth where it meets another seam that goes around the neck.

    Thank you so much. I see vases with the same shape to be 'Ming' pattern but they are etched, so I guess the name refers to the style of decoration. Any idea if there is a name for this particular flared shape. From the 30's?

    Ming is a "Brocade style" etch from the 1920s while Mandarin Red is a color from the same time.
