    Hello

Can you help with identifying this bracelet?

Five painted ivory panels, set in a filigree type bracelet. I'm not sure where it's from but I'm sure I've seen an identical clasp on Anglo Indian silver bracelets.

Including filigree borders the panels measure 3.5cm width x 3cm height, to 4.5cm with 3.8cm height.

    Many thanks

Would this be considered Cannetille work? Very cool.

I think Italy is likely. Those box clasps are used in the jewellery of many nations.
Edit: Although those little dangles by the clasp are very Indian. Panels painted in Italy, bracelet made in India?

    Grand Tour bracelet, maybe?

I think the whole thing is Italian and nineteenth century. The bridge is over the Tiber,I believe.

The mountains are the Alps. If the bracelet were done in India, the Indians had artists perfectly capable of doing really good paintings on ivory. I'd say Italy too over India or Turkey.

Thank you all for the input. Italy is looking likely. I forgot to mention the paintings are all covered in a clear piece of crystal(or possibly glass) which I think would point to Italy rather than India.

It is a stunner, Ratsy, truly beautiful.
I agree. The three mountains are the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, in Switzerland. So my vote goes to a Swiss bracelet, Grand Tour period.
I am sure someone can locate the bridge in Switzerland too, there are many bridges there, with all those lakes.

What looks like bells on the clasp are actually capped links (is that the term?), with the same little domes as on the links between the panels.
Did you check the bracelet for tiny assay marks? On the clasp maybe?

Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (from the other side?):

Thankyou AJ. I triple checked for any silver marks but couldn't find anything. Mountain ID is very useful
