A few glass questions about this little hummingbird bowl!

Hi all. Found this amongst a few other things today at my local thrift store. I don't think it's very old but thought it was sweet. My queries: how do I describe it? It looks like the painted colours are within the glass itself; is it fused glass? Also, why is it more decorative on the bottom rather than in the body of the dish? I have seen some glass bowls online that are actual hummingbird 'bird baths' but they are much larger, this little bowl is only 6.5"W x 2" H. Not signed. Thanks!

It is pretty . I love Hibiscus flowers,and humming birds. It obviously sat on a stand of some sort or it wouldnt have that bottom. I am beginning to wonder if some old dear didnt paint this as a hobby .

 

Ha, maybe? It doesn't appear to be painted directly on to the glass though.

 

I realize you said “Not signed”, but in your SECOND image down, along the edge where I’ve circled in RED here, there are some markings you might want to check out with a loupe or magnifying glass.....I’m not sure if what I’m seeing is on the front or back.....enlarge (stretch out the image here).....

Now that you mention it, there might be something there but it’s hard to tell, it could just be a few scratches!
