Need some help in identifying what this dish is

    I bought this piece in a thirft store yesterday and i still can't find who the maker is. I can see on the bottom there's a W AND 08

    Hi Caroline! Would you please give us a better shot of the bottom signature that is, perhaps, head-on and not angled?

    Said place is often trying for a Michelin star. A late friend of mine, a real foodie, used to get stellar service in some of those places. They figured anyone dressed that badly who knew food that well just HAD to be working for Michelin or one of the news agencies. Little did they know he was a broke musician!
