    Hi,
Hell, I would come in nano minute to polish silver. I must have been a butler in the Edwardian era. Nothing is more relaxing than polishing silver. Mine or someone else's.

Problems I wouldn't mind having. Woot! I went through my local Ill Will today and spent not one penny. Waste of gas driving there.

I'm not quite sure what I was thinking, but it fit and jumped on my finger and wouldn't leave. $75 paid for a brushed white gold and lab star sapphire ring. It's got a maker's mark inside I can't parse. The star didn't photograph for some reason; it moves. No one would put a real star this good in a 10k setting, so it's probably synthetic. (horrors)

I think you were thinking 'bargain', looks like there should be more than $75 scrap in it! A point light source makes the star show up best, so a spotlight or sunny day no clouds etc.

The dealer said $50 in scrap. It's not going anywhere for a while, at least, except into my hoard.

$50 is only a smidge over 2 grams of 10k gold - looks chunkier than that, do you have a fine scale to check?

2.5 Pennyweights on my analog dram scale - currently about $89 including the stone, so $75 is probably about melt. Not bad for a jewelry store buy.

I thought it looked more of a mess. (LOL) It looks kind of like a P. I was rather hoping for a Linde mark but no such luck.

It just keeps coming, I think someone donated a whole estate, there’s been lots of good stuff coming out the past couple weeks. I’ve only been showing the silver picks. There’s been loads of primitives (painted pantry boxes, grain measures and such) that I’ve already sold. Here’s a bunch of misc. including six place settings by Manchester and a six piece Gorham vanity set. Also not pictured is about 20 weighted s&p and candle holders.

Holy smokes. I almost bought some silver today, but the lady decided to research it more. Just as well; the price was high for what it was (Swedish demitasse spoons.) Anund made up for me!
