    These were part of a shelf lot of stems I got recently, but have not been able to ID them. Hopefully someone here can either have more success with finding them or maybe even recognizes them. :happy::happy:

    They are 7" tall & hold 3 ounces when filled to the rim.

    Hi Peggy! Very nice stems, but . . . They look like glass, not crystal, and they look rather newish. So, you may have fried more brain cells than they actually deserve. At 3 ounces, I would guess cordials or some kind of new fangled shooters for the younger crowd. These are the types of things I put in my B&M space because like they say on the R site, they are UNK. (BTW, I searched both amethyst and red with clear.)

    I agree newish. Cordials are generally around 1 oz. I would think sherry or port or maderia or other fortified wine would be more likely.

    Thanks Pam & George!! :kiss::kiss:

    I got these with a some other stems & I will likely take them up to the consignment shop on my next trip. Somebody may think the red stems are as unusual as I do. I really wish there were 4. :(:(

    Agree about the 4 thing. It's a rule that if I have 4 or 6 or 8 of something, it usually sells. Not the same with 3 or 5 or 7. Isn't that odd?? Who wouldn't want an extra one in case one broke? Odd numbers. I once offered a set of 11 beautiful wine glasses in my space for one price. The buyer took 8 and left 3 on the shelf. So now I have 3 orphaned wines in my basement.

    Yep, happens all the time at my store.
    If we get 5 glasses, we sell as a set of four and throw the other one away.
