Amber Glass Domed Serving Dish - New? Cheese Dish?

I got this Friday night auction also. It is 8 1/4" to the top of the handle on the lid, 7 1/8" across the bottom portion & the bottom portion is 1 3/4" deep.

Does anyone have any ideas about the maker or have you seen it available in stores right now?

Pretty sure we had candy jar, same color, same finial, would have been purchased new in the mid to late '60s - Mom had a bunch of amber, green and orange decorative glassware back then...

I will do some research on Colony glass.

 

just bought the same the other day. Yours is the only other I can find in my research. Mine has a small oval sticker on the dome that looks to be the maker's label but it is unreadable. Any luck yet?

 

I never did find anything totally definitive. I sold it a couple months back & I guess the buyer was happy because they never left feedback.

Sorry I couldn't be of any further help, but you may want to post a thread showing the label. Sometimes folks can ID by the shape of the sticker.

 

Here are some Colony labels, I do know Mom had some Colony pieces, but can't really recall which ones - seems pretty likely they were the maker though...
