I've been educating myself about pottery, porcelain products, and related merchandise for about 20 years, and have gained quite a bit of knowledge. I run into the occasional conundrum which I'm hoping I can get get help with here. Right now, Screen Shot 2021-03-17 at 8.45.56 PM.jpg Screen Shot 2021-03-17 at 8.46.11 PM.jpg I'm looking for more specific information on a European trinket box I have if you want to take a look. Cheers.

Tell us what you already know, Eric S -- from these pictures it's hard to tell whether this is a delicate little piece of porcelain or a clunky ceramic butter dish!

Answering komokwa's request for dimensions would be a start. When did you or your family acquire the item? Can you narrow it down to a country or region?

And unless the lid has been glued on, open it and show us the rim and interior.
