I've found a beautiful vase at a thrift store. It was made into a lamp at some time. Taking the lamp bits off offered a reign mark, seal mark that appears in Zhuanshu script and seems to date itself in the Daoguang time....however there is a hole drilled through the seal mark and only part of it remain. Would someone with better knowledge than I care to comment on possible time of its creation. It is a beautiful vase but its shape doesn't fit with most of the vases of that period either. Thank you. We need to see larger pictures of the 5 that show the whole piece.

It is always difficult to know with these as to whether they are wonderfully forged copies of the reign marks or real. The crackling of the glaze and the intricacies of the art work suggest a high quality of product regardless of age. What do you all think?
