This paperweight from the reseller's treasures has no mark or signature that I could find. I have seen this style in my wanderings, but don't know how to describe it, so I can search for information. It is a smaller weight at 2 inches in diameter. I tried twisted canes but that wasn't it. Does anyone have ideas about what to call it? Comments will be gratefully appreciated.

Ooops My error. I didn't get it in the middle. It's centered. I've seen them over the years, but from afar. Thanks for looking.

Is that (what looks like )"black" lettering ? on top or reflection of something underneath?

OMG I didn't see that. I was looking all over the sides and bottom. It is in the glass, but I think it is some black glop.
    You decide

Not sure what it is--errant glass pieces introduced or holes in white glass---..but IMHO would be considered a flaw it for resale..Sorry:sorry:
But great for you to continue to enjoy...esp since you never saw it !!!!!;)

It's really pretty small. I rarely part with anything and never paperweights! I was please to get it because I've wanted on with this style. Thank you.

I like that image. I was most interested in the netting looking part like waving banners.

Late to this, but as I saw the photo I thought Fratelli Toso, it's absolutely typical. Twisted latticino. Those are air bubbles that crept in.

That’s what is was hoping. It looked like hard work laying all the pieces so precisely so I thought a good studio. Thank you.

I've had some Toso, it's nice quality. They tend to make weights that sort of float, if that makes sense. Dead flat polished bases.
