Chinese Snuff bottles

    George, if you read the post again, you'll see that I didn't compare mine with Hugh Moss's. It is extremely different, and I have been around snuff bottles (and other arts/antiques) for too long to just randomly apply the provenance of one item to another.
    Don't worry, I have to re-read posts too to see what was actually written.:)
    I just posted the bottle again to illustrate the fact that I like pebble jade bottles. It has been authenticated, by the way.

    You are right on the lapis bottle, it is not antique, you'll note that I didn't say it was. (Another re-read, sorry to keep you busy.;))
    In fact, I didn't say anything about it in this thread (probably did in the original thread), because it wasn't relevant here. It just happened to be in the same picture as the jade one.
