Uncle! I give up. I've looked thru one of the online art lists and no name came up with the first name starting in Z and the last ending in ...re Can't figure out also if it is a ltd edition lithograph, woodblock or what, from a New York auction. All I can tell you is there are no dots like on some prints and it is in a brass frame. I can't tell a woodblock from a lithograph. What other art forms, for a copy, do not have dots? Can you read the signature? It is about 30" x 24". No answer from frame shop twice. answer. 44E82F86-1C39-464B-BE91-1F6713B939C7_1_201_a.jpeg 76D170E6-0B49-481B-B5DE-74A54FE866B6.jpeg 76D170E6-0B49-481B-B5DE-74A54FE866B6.jpeg

It could be a serigraph (silkscreen). It reminds me of some of the collectors guild prints from the 60's and 70's. There are dozens of artists that did prints for them. I found an eBay auction, same artist. They called theirs a lithograph(Titled "Irises", artist was not identified.) Has the collectors guild label.

He seems to have revisited that subject many times with minor variations.

I thought I replied to this but I do not see where it is. Thank you all. Ganne visited the theme very closely! Now I know seriographs do not show the tiny dots under a loupe either. You all are really great and I thank you so much.
