Very old Chinese ?

i am looking for some help to identify this and what Dynasty it may be from.

 

Brand new,that overall crazing is a dead giveaway.

 

From what little I've learned here is that when the crazing is uniform & top to bottom.......it ain't old !

I know I'm late to the party but I have seen this statement, regarding "uniform, top-to-bottom" crackle glaze made several times and I am a little alarmed. Although even the experts are confused about Chinese ceramics produced specifically featuring crackle glazes (Ge ware, Guan ware, etc.) there is no doubt that there are some exceedingly old Chinese porcelains (Song Dynasty) that are crackled all over, top to bottom. Neither Johnny nor I claim to be experts....but we've offered up our opinions on the piece we see...as we see it.

You , are just alarmed by our opinions...without commenting on the item .

Maybe you could bring your expertise to bear on this item , and explain to the bored why you think it may be an old antique .

 

Certain things should bring red flags but should not be deemed definitive. Overall crazing such as this is one of those things. In conjunction with other clues, it is part of the equation in determining age. For what it is worth, I too think this a new piece.

 

Frankly, though it looks like it may be a tourist piece, without more, and clearer, photographs, (particularly of the bottom) it is impossible to tell anything. I have late 19th century mudmen, sitting on ceramic lily ponds, that exhibit glaze crackling and color very similar to that of this piece.
