Probably 1960s/early 70s and probably "in the style of"; Israeli copper with that patina turns up here all the time. Most of it isn't marked with anything but an original price tag.

I miss you guys. Nothing really happening here in regards to estates sales, yard sales, just too hot with the heat wave and humidity. I have a few things I need to photograph.....I have been cleaning out my uncle's house. A relative is clearing the house, the barn, and the shed. He will also probably do the cleaning. He underbid my realtor's contractors.

Nobody wanted so much good stuff. I gave the Art Deco burled walnut bedroom set to my sister. We couldn't find the three shelves to my grandmother's china cabinet, so my brother, as a birthday gift, is having new shelving made. My cousin took what glassware she wanted, and my sister is selling the rest at her flea market. I took very few things, I have to photograph my favorite for you glassware fans.

I am also on a "death cleaning" in my own house. I don't plan on going anywhere, but it is seriously time to minimize. I just spent two days clearing out the junkiest jewelry to give to my sister to sell at a flea market (I have to make sure I don't buy any of it back.) I promised my husband I would make his pool room habitable again.

I finally got my 14k Art Deco Gruen watch repaired. I bought it for $8 last summer at the last day of an estate sale, and it took my watch guy almost a year to get it fixed. It cost me $140, and the watch guy had to send it out to an expert he knows. The expert fell in love with it and offered to buy it for $1,500 because of the condition, but I love it too much (and therein lies my problem and how I accumulate stuff.)

Woo hoo! I found a pile of quilt fabric today, but nothing else of note...except the MS sending me crazy. I could only stay out a few hours because one leg was so darned numb.

There are commercial flea bath shampoos, but ask your vet first! I used to also (we have rugs) vacuum with moth crystals IN the Vacuum bag....vet suggested it.... worked like a charm, but then we also now give them the once-a-month Flea & Tick oral/chewable tablet Simparica, but there are other brands out there too, as stated above!!!

Found this crook style walking stick at $avers Today, it’s been sitting there since Saturday for $6.99+.
There was a rubber ferrule on it with black double sided tape, the original silver one still there under it all.
I think it’s Austrian 800 silver, still haven’t deciphered the mark yet.
I like the monogram but haven’t cracked it yet.

@anundverkaufen, the mark looks impossible, but the monogram looks like Dr. WJ or JW.....at least to me...........

Edit: In blowing up the mark onscreen, then playing in Photoshop, & rotating it counter clockwise, I kind of think I see the #3, then maybe a Left facing Face, then ?, then?, then the Letter A.....that's all I've got......IF ANYTHING!! The separate 'blob' on the left gives me nothing!!!!!

Thanks! It’s the dog head mark for Austria Hungary 1867-1922, 800 silver, Vienna. Not sure about the other one, I’ll have to clean it out tomorrow to see if there’s anything decipherable.

@Rufus@frockstarvintage, forgot to say, I think Mr. Brad Pit is just Gorgeous!!! I used to be terrified of Pitties, untie I got involved with a Rescue from GA......she used to come up to here with rehabilitated mamas and 8-9 week old puppies.....this person did SUCH A WONDERFUL job rehabbing them....most were abandoned and pregnant.....and was terrific at finding them NEW, APPROPRIATE, WONDERFUL homes!!!! KUDOS to you for keeping such a sweetie!!!!:singing::singing::):)

    Thank you @Aquitaine :D

PBBP (Pretty Boy Brad Pit) is the sweetest, it's true, as well as smart and well mannered. He is becoming a celebrity in his own right locally and gets all the love & attention he deserves. I'm not sure which of us is the luckier one.

On the advice of a few other dog owners and my vet, I picked up Nexguard which seems to be working well.

I'm so happy you came around to loving Pitties; they are wonderful animals!!

A few years back the small family run pet shop I went to had a Pittie for a greeter. His name was Ike & he was truly large. The owner got to know which customers preferred not to interact with Ike & would tell him to kennel up before they came in the door.
All Ike wanted to do was to greet you warmly & then show you where his biscuits were kept. :D:D However the one true hazard of being greeted by Ike was if you got in the way of his tail.:eek::eek: It was going a mile a minute & it was like getting hit on the leg with a very stout branch. :jawdrop::jawdrop:
