Cherry Astragal Corner Cupboard ?

Anyone have a guess on where in the country this might have been made?
The astragal glazing seems unique for this style? I will continue looking for other woods but so far all cherry.

 

I like the fact that it's a corner cupboard, but it looks like someone did a "hurry-up staining" job on it......or at least it looks very uneven to me.....especially so for the top section.......JMHO...

EDIT: I just happened to stumble across this site that looks like they will custom make pieces as well.....and looks like it's a British company but here in GEORGIA, USA......some very similar to yours.....stating 'very fine furniture'....checked the map......not saying it IS, but "could" be where it came from....wondering if someone wanted to change the finish on it????

this is an early 19th century piece. hasn't been stained. I'll try to get better photos.

 

Looks English to me, those doors are fairly common here.
