Hello everyone! Sorry to be away for so long. I have had this seagull figurine for some time and it has me a bit baffled. I think it may be a two part construction. The seagull has a silky glaze like Haeger but the base has an almost metallic ring like German porcelain. The figurine is a little shy of 11" tall and the base measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/2". Any direction for searching would be most helpful. Thank you!
    Don

I found a couple but one is marked EA which they didn’t show and the other brown one has another RA mark?

The RA one looks rather like a paint your own ceramic doesn't it?

Yes, that's rather what I thought. Perhaps it was a mold made available commercially.

It does but I thought the initials were a bit too deep and had been incised into the clay before it was fired but I could be wrong and they Dremelled it in before spraying it.
