I am not an expert but I do have have quite a few pieces of Danecraft and I have never seen this mark on their pieces. I will be interested to see what you find out.

Might contact Danecraft, they're family owned and still in business. Suppose another company could have acquired the same stock from a rolling mill - it reminds me of Thomae's squarish mark, and they made similar cuffs (they're also family owned and still in business)...

Here's another. Would someone really choose this particular piece to knock off? Your mark may not match, but all the rest sure does. Are the measurements the same as well?

It could be a newer reproduction using old original dies/rollers.Many of the old New England companies tossed out their dies, etc. for more modern processes and the dies were salvaged by others.

Huh, very interesting. I'll suggest contacting Danecraft and see if she wants to pursue it. It's such a pretty bracelet whoever made this one. Thanks everyone:)

One of the things about these forums which never fails to intrigue me is the constancy of repetition in any given column. One day it will be green pottery (three entries), another time it will be satin glass, and now today we have two queries about great tailed, toothed & winged monsters!
