Novice collector of pretty things

I enjoy going to estate sales and looking for treasure. I keep learning a lot about pieces and collectability every time I find something new. I love researching makers marks and seeing if I found treasure.

 

Beautiful hand painted C&S. Would that be considered "demitasse" - I have big hands from working with wood most of my life so pretty much all C&S's are demitasse to me - LOL!!

Agree with Bakers. Hobbyist painted.
In case you are not familiar with the term. Ladies would(and still do) buy blank china and paint them. Like everything there are good artists and not so good artist.

The signature on the bottom would be the person who painted the cup and saucer. They did a decent job. Not the best artist, but certainly not the worst.
