Featured Two Orange Ceramic Planters

My Dad bought these last week for £15.

Wondering if anybody can decipher anything from the marks.

Or tell me more generally about the item.

Haha I thought you were just describing the pot to me xD . Seems so obvious now *facepalm*

I don’t think anybody would find much of these. my dad was attracted to the 1930’s style colouring of them and wanted to know if anybody here knew a little

 

I thought the blue poppies were artistic license, but seems not:

 

Are they painted identically?

I'm wondering whether the painting was done by a talented hobbyist?

 

They are both identical as such. They are hand painted so not identical other than in template.

Thinking they are factory made by the looks of it. If not they definately bought them orange xD

 

Meconopsis Baileyii, the Himalayan poppy. 1930s seems about right to me.
