Hi Tracey,
I ended up with a scar from 10" above my belly button to my pubes. They did not know what was causing my 105 temperature so they did an exploratory and found the gallbladder next to my kidney. I never had any complications to eating LOL. My Grandma had hers out age 99!! While I was screaming at her surgeon he said have YOU ever said NO to your grandma.

Wise surgeon I was lucky as I had keyhole surgery so I just have 3 little nicks on my tummy and about a 2cm wound near my belly button where they pulled it out. I think the anaesthetic knocked me around more!
