Picked a group of 6 of these up today at the GW. I've seen what seems like this same shade being sold in several places online (Etsy, Ebay, etc...) as Fenton - but I have no reason to believe that they are correct. Anyone know who might have made these? Thanks! 5" high, 6 1/2" wide at the top, 2" base.

I think often times folks just put Fenton in their description without doing any research. I had a look through the Opalescent Glass book but didn't see them. Lots of companies made the swirl pattern but I can't see much of a difference between the swirls and different companies so maybe the id will be by the shape? Here is a Fenton shade that is almost the same in size and shape (#75269) but not the same. So I'm no help to you finding out who made it, but I agree with you that they likely aren't Fenton.

They remind me of flamenco dancer skirts.
I came across mine just yesterday while making an attempt to clear out the wardrobe. My dancing days....

Agree that most sellers on Ebay/Etsy wherever simply tag their glass items with whatever sounds good to them without really knowing. Thanks for taking the time to look through your book! Appreciate the help :)

Thank you TC! Maybe I'll message the seller and see if they can provide any additional info on their Fenton attribution. Appreciate the help!

I believe that they are newer shades, by whom---I don't know. I have seen the same shade in Cranberry and Blue Opalescent. Probably imports.

Wouldn't surprise me at all as I found 6 of these together - not impossible but would be unusual if they were very old.

The edges dont look polished so I think imports as well. But very pretty and rare to find so many at once. Theres someone out there with an old chandelier that is calling your name as we speak. :)

Assuming then that the edge that attaches to the lamp normally would be polished? I'm ignorant to this stuff...
