Could be Fenton. Had similar swirled shades that were.

I'm loving this vintage quilt - plaid patchwork on top side & mid century diamond pattern on back. I know this could have been made any time from 1950s up to last week, but can anyone date it?

This guy was out front on the sidewalk of a local store. The employees were as thrilled to be rid of him (lol) as I was to buy him. He'll be a great addition to my odditorium

You should start a thread about this in the Textiles Forum. Quilt age ranges are often identifiable by the fabrics used. This one looks like flannel harvested from plaid shirts.

The fabric folks may want to see the backing and stitch closeups too.

@Bakersgma Thank you, I will do so. I thought the same about flannel shirts

My grandmother made a similar string quilt for my Mom in the '50s, and it was sewn from the remnants of the plaid shirts and pajamas she made.

And we had a very similar, if not the same, anatomical model in our high school - a constant target of sophomoric humor due to his, ummm, equipment...

Alors, almost all of the forums on this site are searched by web bots all day, every day. So you can expect this to happen. This is not a private site. You can post things to the General Discussion forum here and the bots won't find them. They are not allowed.

...and it happens VERY QUICKLY, too! Often, if you go searching on Google to help someone who has just posted a question, their own query (and photos!) come up before anything else!
